Programmes & Projects
Four programmes, one mission
Everything Icyeza Foundation does sits under one of four programmes , each a different way we keep Rwandan and African culture visible, taught and celebrated in Poland.
Ballet Icyeza Polska
Our traditional Rwandan dance troupe, performing at cultural festivals, embassy events and community celebrations across Poland and beyond. Ballet Icyeza is where the foundation's story began, and it remains the most visible way we share heritage with new audiences.
Explore MoreCultural Workshops
Regular sessions for children and young adults covering Rwandan language basics, oral history and storytelling traditions. Workshops run alongside dance rehearsals so families can take part together, and are open to anyone curious about Rwandan culture , not just the diaspora.
Check upcoming eventsCommunity Projects
Public festivals, cultural evenings and joint events with Polish institutions, embassies and other diaspora groups. These projects are how the foundation builds bridges , introducing Rwandan culture to new audiences and creating shared spaces for celebration.
Partner with usCultural Education
One-on-one and group mentorship for young Rwandans navigating life in Poland , from settling in, to studies, to staying connected to identity and community. Many of our mentors came up through Ballet Icyeza themselves.
